We are still in the process of establishing Salud del Sol as a 501(c)(3) non-profit entity. When that effort is complete, interested parties will be able to make tax-deductible contributions intended to support our joint ventures and growth.
The Education Committee of Las Mujeres Solares is dedicated to enhancing the education of the children of las Mujeres Solares. The education committee has established a scholarship program to support the secondary students attending school in the near-by town of Totogalpa. The Education Committee has estimated the annual cost of a student to attend secondary school at $260, which includes the cost of transportation, uniform, and school supplies. For most families in Sabana Grande this is a significant financial burden. To contribute to the scholarship fund contact info@saluddelsol.org.
To support our partnerships with Las Mujeres Solares de Totogalpa and Grupo Fenix, we are seeking donations of goods. Below is a list of items that are needed. Interested parties can contact us at info@saluddelsol.org for more details about transporting goods or shipping goods to Nicaragua.
